Bump & Go Musical Express Light Up Train

“My toddler is at the age where he absolutely loves everything that moves, especially trains. He has had so much fun with this train, especially figuring out how to work the on/off switch on the bottom. It has two settings—one for lights only and one for lights and music.

The gears along the side move with the wheels, and the internal mechanism turns the pistons up and down as the wheel underneath the front of the train rotates to move the train back and forth. The music switches between different songs and train-horn sounds, adding to my toddler’s enjoyment.

The only issue I have noticed is that pushing down on the steam part on top can prevent the motor from moving. I am not sure whether this could hurt the toy, but my child has discovered this feature because of the negative effect. I would also say the sound volume is on the louder side, which is common with toddler toys.

It has colorful lights, fun moving gears, and runs on three AA batteries. It feels relatively durable for a toddler toy and is a great train for the value.”

“This is a fun and easy-to-use train. It has neat gears that move inside, lights up when you turn it on, rolls around, and plays music. It is a good toy for entertaining children, although the sound cannot be adjusted.

The train takes three AA batteries. The plastic seems fairly high-quality and should hold up well against bumps and falls. The colorful lights are also very fun.”

“This transparent gear train is excellent for visual stimulation. The see-through body completely exposes the colorful internal gears, allowing toddlers to watch exactly how the mechanical parts move and turn together.

The bump-and-go feature works exceptionally well. It automatically redirects itself whenever it hits a wall or obstacle, keeping the toy continuously moving around the room. This active movement does a fantastic job of encouraging crawling toddlers to follow it.

A quick note for parents: the built-in music and flashing LED lights are very bright and high-energy. While this is incredibly engaging and fun for daytime play, the sound is quite loud and cannot be adjusted.

The construction feels solid, drop-resistant, and safely smoothed around the edges. Overall, it is an excellent sensory toy that provides plenty of active entertainment.”

“This little train is very entertaining for younger children. I love how it moves around, and when it touches something, it turns and travels in another direction. Many toys like this can become stuck and keep moving forward without turning, but this train changes direction nicely, allowing my son to keep following and playing with it.

It is very cute and the size is great. He is able to control it himself. It feels durable and sturdy, and it plays several different sounds and songs. At times, the sound can be somewhat loud, but overall it is a super-fun toy, and I really enjoy seeing my son play with it.”
